Juke Box Homage to the seventies

Italian design underwent a fantastic period of renewal and creativity during that period, developing initiatives known as “radical design” or “contro design” in the rest of the world. The very definition of these aesthetic movements represents a new way of interpreting art, the world and life, breaking with the rational approach of the past in order to let emotions emerge empathically, without hindrance and censure.Colour therefore became the undisputed star of 70s creations. Forms were rounded, sinuous, full of material and colour. If, on the one hand, those years rebelled against the severity of a minimalism that had dominated previous decades, the revival of Seventies forms today opposes a simpler, minimal style, with clearly defined, rectilinear lines.
Natural figured maple, used and appreciated for its veins in the production of musical instruments, is an innovation introduced by Regia in the bathroom fittings sector, after its wenge, oak and rosewood proposals. This unit, which is 50 cm deep and comes in two different dimensions, measuring 40 and 70 cm, making it possible to create modular solutions measuring 70, 110 and 150 centimetres, is available in the following variants: chiaroscuro effects, glossy polyester lacquer and natural stains in grey, night blue, forest green, sunny orange and cyclamen.
A 70 cm long drawer is housed under the basin area, while the 40 cm unit can be fitted with interior glass shelves or a double internal drawer. The collection’s mirrors, with incorporated lights, echo the typical lines of dressing room models used backstage at theatres in the Seventies, while the coordinated shelves in Regia colours measure 80 and 110 cm in length.
The black or white Tecnoglass basin, to be installed level with the unit, measures 70 x 40 cm.

JUKE BOX LIGHT
The brilliant, transparent basins made from Vetro Ghiaccio (Ice Glass)- the innovative resin by Regia – are made in amber, blue, apple green and red, to match the black or white polyester lacquered furniture (available for this solution exclusively in the 70 cm. version) and brighten up the ‘light’ version of the Juke Box collection, which is dedicated in particular to those who like their day to be ‘colourful’ at all times.
