For the 2007 edition of Salone del Mobile – international furniture exhibition in Milan – FAP Ceramiche, a leading Italian brand of ceramic wall tiles, will be participating in That's Design, a new event conceived in partnership with Domus Academy, Consorzio POLI.design, the Design Faculty and the INDACO department of the Milan polytechnic institute, and ZOT; set in the vast exhibition space of Superstudio 13 and Industria Superstudio, the event will be hosting the world's leading design institutes with their designers' projects and products.

FAP Ceramiche is a company that has always focused on design and creativity, a magic formula that has made it one of the leading players on the international scene. Its path has always been guided by product quality and an awareness of changing lifestyles, expressed not only through daily objects, but also through spaces that elicit emotion. FAP Ceramiche isn't just wall coverings, it's a new way to inhabit space, closely tied to fashion and design, that responds to the needs and moods of the end user.

The installation for That's Design, conceived and designed by the architect Mattia Parmiggiani from Studio ZPZ Partners, features a gleaming, mirror-like crystal shell that seems to reflect our image, our thoughts, and our feelings. The items selected for the exhibit exemplify the features of the company's entire product line, which creates highly evocative settings with both minimalist precision and colourful patterns. For this important occasion, the designer has successfully captured the true essence of FAP Ceramiche, underscoring yet again its close relationship with the design world.

The following materials have been used for the walls and pouffes: from the For Love collection - Silk Bianco insert, Flowers Verde insert, Windy Verde, Silk Marrone listel, Velur Blu insert;  from the Velvet collection - Chrissy Sand insert, Bloomy Brown insert; from the Idea line - Ramage Cedro insert and Luce Celesto listel; from the Lumina collection - Stream Rosso insert and Dune Rosso insert. The central showcase instead features a display of Fap's brand-new gold and white mosaic tiles, designed and developed exclusively for this important occasion.
